I'm selling an Alesis Midiverb II (I have 5 units). First of all, NO, THE SOFTWARE DOESN'T SOUND THE SAME as the hardware. The software fails to capture the depth and harmonic distortion of this gem. The Midiverb 2 is the best of the series; all 100 patches are superbly designed and ready to use in a mix right out of the box. This unit is a phenomenal saturator when you max out the input (used as a secret weapon by New York mixing / mastering engineers).
