An original and very rare lapel badge issued by the Australian Hibernian Society in 1914. Issued in support of the Irish independence volunteers. 19 x 25 mm. Irish harp shaped motif, gilt and green enamel with button hole mount to the reverse. The obverse "A NATION ONCE AGAIN 1914". The reverse is stamped with the makers name, STOKES & SONS MELB. Very good condition. Enamels without issue. Fire gilt finish bright and strong. 3364
