Having owned several S900s and S950s over the years, I can confirm that the S900 has a punchier, fuller sound than the S950, especially on percussion. Nothing sounds better than Linn Drum, Roland TR909 and TR808 samples, played and processed through the S900's legendary liquid and smooth analog filters.
