The pens are fitted with ‘585’ gold nibs marked ‘Walkiria’. This is a rare fountain pen, undoubtedly of Italian manufacture, marked ‘Walkiria’, dating from the late 1930s, with a body entirely plated in 18-carat gold – the classic ‘Gold Overlay’ finish that was so fashionable for high-end pens from the 1920s onwards.
